About the Role

The Risk Manager / Head of Risk to lead the Bank’s enterprise-wide risk management function, ensuring effective identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation of risks across its international banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Bank’s Risk Management Framework, Risk Appetite Statement, risk limits and risk register.
• Identify and manage market, credit, liquidity, operational, regulatory, strategic and emerging risks.
• Monitor market risk exposures, including investment portfolios, interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk and other financial market exposures.
• Ensure compliance with prudential requirements and regulatory risk limits.
• Assess risks associated with new products, lending activities, digital assets and business initiatives.
• Oversee risk incidents, control deficiencies, remediation plans and operational resilience.
• Provide independent risk reporting and recommendations to senior management and the Board.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in banking or financial services risk management, including strong practical market risk experience.
• Sound understanding of treasury operations, investment portfolios, credit risk and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience developing risk frameworks, risk appetite measures and management reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, risk management, economics or a related discipline.

About You

This is a senior management position with responsibility for strengthening the Bank’s risk governance, supporting sustainable growth and maintaining effective independent risk oversight.
