Heinz was appointed as a Director and Chairman in May 2021.

Heinz is a Cook Islander and Principal of the Cook Islands law firm Little & Matysik P.C. Before returning to the Cook Islands to live in 2009, Heinz worked as a lawyer in New Zealand and for a leading international US law firm, in London, Frankfurt and Munich. He has extensive experience in banking and finance, commercial and corporate law, and conveyancing.

Heinz is a Chambers and Partners Global ranked lawyer for the Pacific Islands. He is also the Chairman of the Cook Islands National Superannuation Fund board, a member of the Cook Islands Public Expenditure Review Committee (PERC). Heinz has previously sat on the board of the Cook Islands Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC). He is currently the Honorary Consul for the Federal Republic of Germany to the Cook Islands.
