Steffi Spitznagel joined the Board of CSB in 2024. 

Steffi is an internationally recognized lawyer and accredited mediator specializing in international dispute resolution. She has extensive experience in international arbitration and has played a key role in some of the world's largest finance, banking, energy, and mining-related litigation and arbitration cases, often involving governments and quasi-governmental entities. 

Steffi started her career by holding various in-house legal roles for major technology and construction industry manufacturers in Switzerland, the U.K., Japan, and the U.S. She later worked as a Solicitor in private practice with Hogan Lovells in London, Pepe & Hazard in the U.S., and has been Managing Partner of the Global Resolutions Group, a niche law firm focused on international cross-border investments and global infrastructure projects, for more than two decades. 

Steffi has acted as General Counsel for Swiss and Swedish family offices, advising on investment banking exercises in real estate, the hospitality sector, pharma, and biotechnology. Steffi has worked as a Consultant for Kerman & Co. in London and joined Armstrong Teasdale LLP after the firms combined in early 2021. Currently, Steffi also acts as Senior Consultant to Fladgate LLP, a leading law firm in London, and as a director of a Cayman private-markets mutual fund. She specializes in international law, focusing on banking, tax and estate planning, and cyber security matters.

Steffi holds a degree in law from the University of Konstanz, Germany, a BSc in Health Science from the Open University, U.K., an Executive Master of International and European Business Law from Universität St Gallen, Switzerland, and an L.L.M from Boston University, U.S.

Additionally, Steffi is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, a member of the Law Society (U.K), the German Bar Association, the Worshipful Company of Arbitrators, and the British Association of Neuroscience.
